Oxi-Tech pleased to be part of growing Exeter STEMM community

Exeter Science Park (ESP), where Oxi-Tech Ltd has been based since 2023, has recently announced that it contributes £50 million annually to the local economy.

In addition to its economic impact, Exeter Science Park plays a significant role in regional innovation and education. Oxi-Tech is now one of 45 companies with offices there, all of which are science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medicine (STEMM) focused.

While only 25 percent of the site itself is complete, a new hotel has recently been built, and further construction is anticipated to be complete by 2030. Once finished, there could be up to one million square feet of office and event space, plus over 3,500 people working there.

Speaking about being part of the Exeter Science Park community, Oxi-Tech CEO, Paul Morris, said: “Oxi-Tech is proud to be involved in the fast-developing technology and environmental science cluster forming around the ESP and Exeter University.

“The chance to join like-minded organisations at the cutting edge of science and technology in the area, really helps our team feel part of something much bigger. The links from Exeter Science Park to other parts of the UK are excellent and the Park team are very supportive.

“Being part of the Exeter Science Park community also provides a platform to showcase the talent and knowledge being developed in the area, in areas such as sustainable technology, climate change and water clean-up.

“It’s proving that Devon isn’t just a holiday destination. We are also in the process of forming a regional sustainable business association, and the Science Park will hopefully be a flag other environmentally minded companies in the area can rally around.”
