Pulse Oxidation (POd) singled out as a key technology for both FETF and ADOPT Agri-Tech funding in 2025

POd (Pulse Oxidation) for dairy farmers will once again be eligible for FETF (The Farming Equipment and Technology Fund). The opportunity to apply will open up during 2025 at a date yet to be announced.

Oxi-Tech was also highlighted as a core technology in the new ADOPT Government initiative of direct funding from DEFRA in order to speed up roll out of critical, innovative technologies across farming from decades to just a few years.

This welcome news was made at the NFU conference on 25 February by DEFRA Minister, Steve Reed who not only stated FETF was to resume with a spring 2025 launch of grants of between £1,000 and £25,000 available, but he also singled out Oxi-Tech and POd as one of the technologies for which the new ADOPT programme was designed,” comments Oxi-Tech’s CEO, Paul Morris.

The Minster said: ‘We will help farms of any size access technology that makes a real difference to the bottom-line over the years ahead. Like the chemical-free cleaning for integrated milking equipment by Oxi-Tech – with research previously funded through the Farming Innovation Programme, which boosts profits by lowering energy costs and chemical use.’

Paul Morris adds: “FETF and ADOPT will provide a great opportunity for all dairy farmers to radically change their milking system’s cleaning and disinfection routine by going chemical-free. We will post again and let you know when the guidance for this round is available on GOV.UK and when and how you can apply. Watch this space.”
