Pulse Oxidation (POd) eligible for 40% FETF grant

POd (Pulse Oxidation for Dairy), the gamechanger in CIP is eligible for FETF – 40% grant from Defra’s latest round of funding for English farmers for productivity items.

“Taking advantage of this significant support and investing in POd now will bring dividends for years to come enabling dairy farmers to radically change their milking system’s cleaning and disinfection routine by going chemical-free,” says Oxi-Tech’s Paul Morris.

“POd energises cold water to create ozone, a clean and highly efficient disinfectant that removes the pre-milking teat cleaner (PreMTD) requirement, replaces up to 80% of the traditional CIP wash post milking and eliminates chemical usage in automatic cluster wash systems.”

ROI | cost savings

  • Robotic systems: typical ROI three years based on two milking robots.
  • Conventional systems: up to 80% savings in both energy and chemical usage.

Running costs

  • Approximately two-thirds of traditional CIP cleaning.
