Pulse Oxidation™ by Oxi-Tech: Redefining Hygiene in Food & Beverage Processing

Oxi‑Tech’s Pulse Oxidation™ technology has been developed and proven specifically to meet the demanding hygiene requirements of the beverage sector. Our early work in this field began with an initial case study at Devon Drinks Solutions in Dunkeswell, where Pulse Oxidation™ was first evaluated as a viable chemical‑free alternative for Clean‑in‑Place (CIP) hygiene processes. This initial project played an important role in validating the core principles of the system, demonstrating that Pulse Oxidation™ could integrate effectively into existing production environments and support rigorous cleaning standards without reliance on traditional chemical‑based methods.

Building on the success of this earlier work, Pulse Oxidation™ has now been replicated at a significantly larger commercial scale at Sandford Orchards. This latest installation marks a major step forward, showing how the technology can operate within a full‑scale beverage production facility and contribute to cleaner, more efficient, and more sustainable CIP operations. The Sandford Orchards project demonstrates the system’s readiness for wider industry adoption and highlights the value Pulse Oxidation™ can bring to producers seeking to reduce chemical dependency, simplify processes, and enhance their environmental performance.

Together, these two case studies illustrate the progression of Pulse Oxidation™ from a proven concept to a robust, scalable solution for modern beverage production. They showcase how operators can adopt a more sustainable approach to hygiene management while maintaining the high standards required in today’s beverage industry.
