Oxi-Tech has recently completed a significant industry trial demonstrating the exceptional performance of its proprietary Pulse Oxidation™ technology in Food and Beverage hygiene applications. Conducted at Devon Drinks Solutions in Dunkeswell, the study provided conclusive evidence that Pulse Oxidation™ offers an effective, chemical-free alternative for Clean-in-Place (CIP) operations.

The controlled evaluation compared three discrete cleaning methodologies: conventional chemical-based cleaning, water-only rinsing, and Oxi-Tech’s Pulse Oxidation™ process. The objective was to quantify and compare the efficacy of each approach in reducing microbial contamination within Pressure Vessel Tanks (PVTs), which are integral to cider production systems.

Results from the trial verified that Pulse Oxidation™ achieves superior microbial reduction performance while eliminating the need for conventional chemical agents, thereby enhancing process sustainability and operational safety.
